Classical duplex systems of the Krilico SD series - continuous operation systems consisting of two separate filter housings with ion exchange resin and a salt tank. Used in high water consumption scenarios, mainly in industries with round-the-clock water demand. During rinsing (regeneration) of the duplex system, the flow of softened water to the user is not interrupted.

The system is used to reduce water hardness mainly for industrial purposes, as well as for heating, energy, and wherever continuous soft water is needed. The primary goal of soft water is to remove excess calcium and magnesium ions, which are responsible for water hardness. Water softening systems remove hard salts, help prevent scale buildup in pipes, boilers, and steam generators.

The presented softeners feature digital control. Regeneration initiation is programmable based on: volume of softened water, time, or whichever comes first.

The kit includes:

• Two filter housings;
• Flow distribution system (distributor) for each housing;
• exchange resin with different properties;
• Control valve in the kit (one or two depending on capacity);
• Salt tank;
• Product passport and user manual;
