A butterfly valve is a type of shut-off valve used in pipelines to block the flow. It is activated by the application of a pneumatic impulse.

Valves with pneumatic actuators are used to control industrial water treatment systems and other technological processes. These products can perform multiple functions: shut-off and regulating. They can completely or partially block a pipeline. Operation is possible either by an external pneumatic signal or manually.
